June was a month of triumphs and togetherness—from forging career pathways with Staffmark to cheering on graduates, painting with pride, and cooking up community. But now, we’re turning the page to July, where we’ll tackle a powerful theme: "What We Wish We Knew About Foster Care." This month, we’re amplifying raw, real stories and hard-won wisdom from those who’ve lived it—because knowledge shared is power multiplied. This June, Foster Greatness hit major milestones—from launching an exciting employment pipeline with Staffmark Group to celebrating resilience at our National Foster Youth Graduation Commencement! We kicked off our partnership with a dynamic Networking Workshop, then embraced creativity and community at our PRIDE Painting Social. To top it off, we gathered for our EatWell Community Cooking Event, proving that good food and great connections go hand in hand. June was all about opportunity, celebration, and empowerment—and we’re just getting started!
The Power of Your Network: Unlocking Opportunities We teamed up with Staffmark Group to create life-changing employment opportunities for foster youth! Our first workshop equipped attendees with essential networking skills to unlock their professional potential. |
 | Living in Color: A PRIDE Paint Party Creativity and pride took center stage at this vibrant event, where foster youth and allies expressed themselves through art 🎨 while celebrating LGBTQ+ 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ identities and stories. |
 | Foster Youth Graduation Ceremony We honored the hard-earned achievements of foster youth graduates 🎓, wrapping them in love and recognition for overcoming obstacles and reaching this milestone. 🩵 |

 | Michigan Teen Conference Foster Greatness and Doing Good Works teamed up with the Michigan Teen Conference to make it unforgettable this year. DGW Branded was privileged to supply and print all of the merch for the 20th annual Michigan Teen Conference. Foster Greatness was honored to join the conference and share our remarkable community with all of the teens in foster care in Michigan. |

Our Thriver Stories podcast is dedicated to highlighting the voices of individuals who have lived experience in the foster system. We aim to provide a platform for these individuals to share their unique experiences and personal journeys, all revolving around a specific topic of their choice. 💙
